Fengshan is the heart of the old Kaohsiung county — its night is thicker-set than downtown’s, and every pillar carries local weight.
Pillar one: the Youth Night Market
Tue/Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun (check notices), Wenheng Road becomes a sleepless street — top-tier scale, overwhelmingly local crowd, prices a notch kinder. Fengshan’s night opens here.
Pillar two: Weiwuying’s night plaza
The banyan plaza and colonnades open free after dark; the lit concrete curves are the exhibit. Street dancers, picnics, strollers — the city’s shared living room. Show nights push the surrounding kitchens to a second peak.
Pillar three: the local lineup
The KTV list fields Xiangwenxin Wujia, the south’s singing champion; massage answers with Songzulin on Wenbin Road. A drink means STORY on Bade Road or the darts bar Buddy — few but real; for density, ride the orange line to the downtown bar belts.
Template: Weiwuying stroll at dusk, market at six-thirty, STORY or KTV at nine, massage at eleven. Last orange-line train around midnight; after drinks, even familiar county roads get a designated driver.
